i loved kukoc and was so pumped when he joined the bulls. great passer, with a decent jumpshot and played almost no defense. it was like we were twins.

i've heard about the movie and want to see it.

Average attendance to the one at Marakana, where Red Star Belgrade plays is 105,000 people. It is an absolutely unique experience. You should do it!

Excellent article, not the kind you can come accross in our local Balkan newspapers.
One correction though: the gay parade held this past weekend in belgrade was the first one after 10 years, after the last one turned out to be probably the biggest and bloodiest fight we'd ever seen on the streets of belgrade. And, interestingly enough, it was the first and only time Red Star and Partizan supporters united in their goal to smash the paraders! Men, women...it didn't matter, they all got beaten to death! Therefore, it is safe to conclude that these two groups do have something they share after all - hate towards gay people!

Hah, yeah, it's unfortunate that as patriots they try to actually destroy their country. Quite the Balkan mentality, eh?

Ceca is definitely a piece I shouldn't have left out of this post, but maybe I will dedicate a full blown image gallery to her in the future? :))

Great article! I finally had some knowledge about what is going on on the Balkans. I haven't read any news on international politics in the last few years because I am lazy and just not interested. I think I can understand those people need a stage to protest. (doesn't mean I agree with them) But it's better not to be in a football game. If I were them, I would find a chance to throw my smelly shoes straight to Hillary Clinton.

AWESOME respective and discription of the Balkan Peninsula staffs and all the behavior and politics influence over the crowd. I also can't explain myself what happend on the football match. Just now that it was caused from some serbian villages (СЕЉАЧИШТА) who certainly dont't now what they actually want and what they asking for and appeal, by will destroy serbian footbal and demage everything left in Serbia, for sure.
Anyway great job Ivo ma' man, u made real mix, from Italy-Serbia match, trough local destructive hooligan gangs, to Arkan serbian icon. U just forgat to mention Ceca - the sex symbol in Serbia as a factor for this incident. Maybe the italian are jealousy cuz they don't have chick like Ceca. :)))
